Week 59 in Italy

Well this past week was miraculous!!! WE watched general conference and got tons of revelation and felt so much spirit. It was such a great opportunity to sustain the prophet and apostles and to receive guidance. It was wonderful. We also made some DE LICIOUS cinnamon rolls to go along with the sweet spirit that we felt.

We had some really cool miracles happen this past week! I met this one woman on the metro like 3 months ago, and we ran into her again. I had no idea who she was but she came up to me and said, "CIAO!!! COME STAI?!?!?" and I was like "uuuuuhhhhhhh bene grazie!!!!!! ci conosciamo?!" and she was lik "siiiiiii!!!! hai parlato con me alcuni mesi fa! io dovevo studiare con voi, ma poi non sono riuscita!" and we were like umm lets fix that right now. So we set an appointment with her and we will be seeing her tonight! We taught her the whole restoration lesson on the metro ride to her stop and she was like, "sai, non è per caso che ci siamo incontrate di nuovo..." and I was like um you are SOOO right. It was awesome.

We did a scambio as well. I was with Sorella Dover. We had an appointment with our investigators Festus and Precious. They were running super late. So we got a classic scambio gelato. It's a necessity. Then, to our surprise, about 20 minutes later as we were waiting in front of their building, they pull up into a car and say "get in! we're taking you to get ice cream!" oops. They proceeded to drive us to a different gelatoria and bought us each monster cones with 4 scoops. We almost died. But it was fun. We talked about Gesù and Pasqua as we slowly stuffed more scoops of gelato into our already full tummies.

We also received a cool referral a month or so ago, but we just barely got the chance to pass by them two weeks ago. Her name is Irene and she is from Brasile. She accepted the invitation to be baptized, so when we went into the second lesson with her this week, we had prayed about a baptismal date to set with her. She was so excited and accepted right away. She said that she has been searching for her church for so long, but has never found it. She feels like she as finally found the right one. We promised her that she had, and then invited her to pray about it and ask God! That's the only way anyone can ever really receive an answer.

We also re-met another woman who came to church several weeks ago. She, at that point in time, lived in the area of o
ther missionaries. But then she moved into our area. She is AWESOME! We are super excited to meet with her on Thursday.

Easter was awesome! Michele (an investigator of the Anziani) invited us over to eat with him, his children, his sister, and her family. It was lovely!

We had mission counsel and that was just a wonderful and awesome call unto repentance as it always is. I am excited to be able to give some training tomorrow at zone training. We are talking about the importance of following up and just doing the small and simple things right.

MOST IMPORTANTLY,YOVANNA GOT BAPTIZED AND IT WAS AMAZING!!! The spirit was so strong and I got to give my first talk in Italian. (It's about time) It was so special. I felt like I was literally on fire the whole time. President Dibb came and it was just such a wonderful fay. Yovanna was so happy and it was so cool to watch her take that step.

MIRACLES.

Good things are continuing to happen here in Cimiano. We are finding and teaching and baptizing! There is no better life than this.

I love you all!!

Love,
Sorella Tokarski
